Grow Your Own Vegetables and Fruit Course (Start, Salford)

FREE places available on a 10 week practical, hands-on gardening course at

Start in the Park, Lower Seedley Bowling Green, Buile Hill Park

Tuesdays 19th Feb — 7th May 2019 running from 1.30pm to 3.30pm weekly.
The course will include the following topics:

Choosing the best location for growing;
Preparing your soil and compost;
Choosing vegetable and fruit varieties;
Sowing seeds and caring for seedlings;
Identifying and managing pests and diseases.

This course is a Community Learning course run in association with Salford City College, which means that attenders will need to enrol in the first session and there will be a small amount of paperwork to complete each week, which your tutor will help you with. On successful completion of the course, attenders will receive a certificate of achievement.
