Intermediate Maintenance (Hyde, Tameside)

This course is for you if you have a basic knowledge of bike maintenance, but want to extend your skills to take on more complex tasks and save money on repairs.

The intermediate maintenance course is provided at the subsidised cost of £30 by Manchester Bike Kitchen.

You will learn how to: Adjust your brakes – Adjust and index gears – Inspect and replace cables – Check and maintain your chain – Carry out routine servicing

Led by a cycle maintenance expert, you’ll be in a small group with others of similar experience in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. It’s an intensive hands-on session which will give you the confidence and skills to keep your bike in top condition. It’s best to bring your own bike to work on, but we can lend you one if necessary. The session lasts six hours and are held across Greater Manchester.
