Levenshulme Bee Network Success! -Our Next Steps

Firstly, thank you to all the people who attended our pre-bid engagement events and the people who took part in the Community Street Audits so far.
You all helped inform this community led bid and make sure we are the innovative, testing ground for a mini-holland style filtered neighbourhood in Greater Manchester and the start of something big!

We hope you’re as excited as us to get going.

So we’ll have lots of opportunities to get involved in project areas and sit in on proper design consultations over the next 6 months but the first steps we think is a general catch up to let you know what we’ve been doing with the folks at Manchester City Council, Councillors, TfGM, GMCA, Sustrans, experienced specialists and of course, the REALLY proactive community volunteers who are already taking on project areas and making an ambitious project of this scale possible.

We invite Levenshulme residents to Inspire to share progress being made since the announcement.

We want you to come for a brew and we can share details of the filtered area and some of the key projects areas we’re going to be trialling, developing, engaging on and designing in the next few weeks, months and over the next 2 years!

Come along with your positivity, an open mind and find out how you can support the project areas and help feed ideas into the next steps of the Levenshulme Bee Network.

ALL WELCOME.

We’ve booked a room for 30, so spaces are limited – so it’s M19 residents only. ( If there’s MASSIVE demand – we’ll relocate)
