Levenshulme Mini-Holland – #Beelines Community Consultation

A proposal to deliver a mini-holland approach.  To create a quality network of spaces across our neighbourhood, to promote active life in the street through walking and cycling.

Join the Station South team and Peter O’Hare (local resident and project lead for Salford Council’s award winning Chapel Street East Scheme) alongside support from TfGM and local MCC councillors to help facilitate and develop a community led vision and strong bid for our neighbourhood around better walking and cycling.

A rare chance to see a vision become a reality as funding is available for strong proposals.

ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THE CONVERSATION AS WE MAKE A STRONG BID FOR AN ACTIVE TRAVEL FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD.

A potential vision: To create a distinctive, best practice approach that is recognisably Levenshulme
that embraces walking and cycling to encourage a healthy environment (more trees), a healthy high
street (buy local), active travel, less pollution and safe places for us all to use and enjoy. Streets returned to people. Our home.

Please save the date and have a think in advance about areas in the hood you would like to improve  as part of the future proposals.

Will post a schedule of the event closer to the date. Thanks!
