Local Climate Action Info Evening
We’re facing a climate emergency. The biggest threat to our very existence and to much of the natural world we’ve ever seen. And yet our leaders are letting us down.
The solutions to the climate crisis are out there, and they’re achievable.
Want to learn more about what action is being taken on climate change in Greater Manchester and connect with others who want to make these solutions a reality?
Want to know what you could do in your community or workplace?
Then join us for an information evening on Wednesday 9 October, 7 -9pm!
There will be a short talk about the current situation in Greater Manchester – including Greater Manchester’s carbon budget and commitment to become net-zero by 2038; the 5 Year Environment Plan and recent climate emergency declarations. This will be followed by discussions about what local authorities should be including in their local climate action plans and the chance to explore how you can take action on climate change in your community or workplace.
