About lunchtime talks

This is part of a series of 60 minute webinars and discussions for Friends of the Earth staff and Local Action Group activists. These talks are designed to stimulate thinking and increase awareness of different approaches to campaigning and the issues other campaigns are tackling.

They might not always be directly related to our core campaigns at Friends of the Earth. They might not even be at lunchtime! But they will give us food for thought more broadly about challenges and opportunities facing the environmental movement.

What to expect/agenda

Lunchtime talks vary in format but typically will include an introduction, a presentation from our main speaker and a chance to ask questions and discuss the implications.

Accessibility

During this webinar we will use Zoom, Powerpoint and breakout rooms and Jam boards (delete or add as appropriate).

In addition we have the follow processes in place to support accessibility.

If you require a palantypist or a BSL interpreter please contact community@foe.co.uk two weeks before the training and we will aim to book an expert this service. If there are no available palantypists or BSL interpreters we will work with you to do whatever we can to support your engagement in the training.
