Make a bat or bird box for your garden (hosted by Sustainable Living in the Heatons)
Want a fun activity for this kids this half term? Come and along and we’ll teach them how to make a bat or bird box to take home and put up in the garden.
We’ll be in the Hall at the rear of St Paul’s Church Heaton Moor with Men in Shed helping out with the building. We also have a guest speaker at lunchtime who will talk about bats and birds and how you can encourage them into your garden.
There are two session times with a lunchtime talk:
Morning session: 10.30am-1.15pm
Afternoon session: 12.15pm-3.00pm
Lunchtime: children and parents/guardians attending the morning session should bring a packed lunch to be eaten at midday. Children attending the afternoon session can also arrive at 12.00 with a packed lunch. Tea, coffee, and soft drinks will be provided,
Parents / guardians must stay with their children.
