Manchester Friends of the Earth: Campaign planning and Annual General Meeting

Join us on Saturday 25th January for a day of campaign planning and socialising at the Green Fish Resource Centre. We will start the day with a round-up of what happened in 2019 and what our priorities will be for the year ahead, and we will be spending some time putting together our ideas for campaign activities in 2020.

Hear from Alasdair Roxbergh, Friends of the Earth Director of Communities and Networks on the priorities for 2020 and beyond (by Skype).

There will also be a delicious lunch to enjoy from Open Kitchen Manchester for those who have attended the morning planning session.

In the afternoon we will hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be followed by a social. At the AGM we will vote in new officers for the year, including our coordinators, media officer, membership officer, treasurer, and IT officer.

If you are interested in any of these (or more) we would love to hear from you! Please see our website for more details of different opportunities.  Or contact coords@manchesterfoe.org.uk

If you would like to join us for the campaign planning and lunch part of the day (10.30am – 2.30pm) please let us know by emailing office@manchesterfoe.org.uk to help us with the catering requirements.

The Annual General Meeting will be held between 3 and 4pm. No need to book. All welcome but you will need to be a current Manchester Friends of the Earth member to vote at the AGM.

Thank you for your support of your local Friends of the Earth group. Now, more than ever, is the time for each of us to do what we can to tackle the climate emergency – we hope to see you soon!
