National Day of Action against the Police, Criminal Sentencing and Courts Bill (Manchester)
Come out to the streets in towns and cities, while protest is still legal, for another National Day of action.
The purpose of this protest is to speak out to the Lords before the final vote but also to show our resistance to the idea that we will stop advocating for our rights.
St Peters Square, Manchester City Centre.
What’s wrong with the policing bill?
Friends of the Earth is calling for Part 3 of the policing bill, which restricts the right to protest, and part 4 of the Bill, which criminalise trespass, to be completely scrapped. Below we explain the problems with these parts of the Bill.
