Norwegian Bike for Peace civic reception at Manchester Central Library
As part of their latest Bikes for Peace tour, the Norwegian Bike for Peace group will be visiting Manchester, Warrington and Liverpool.
On Saturday 12th May there will be a civic reception for the Bike for Peace riders in the Civic Suite in Manchester Central Library, from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
They have asked if local people would like to join them both for the reception and maybe for part of the cycle ride afterwards. They will be using the Trans Pennine Cycle route to cycle to Warrington and people would be welcome them to join in the ride for part or all the ride to Warrington.

The leader of Bike for Peace, Tore Naerland has been fighting for peace, disarmament and democracy on the planet for almost 30 years. Naerland studied history, political science and communication at the Concordia College in Moorhead/Minnesota. He has been promoting peace by organizing biking and cultural tours in various countries since 1978 and inspired many to join his ideas.
