October Chorlton Wander (Chorlton Wanderers)

Info about October’s Chorlton Wander from the ride leader Dave:-
“Hello all
I will be leading a ride to Alderley Edge next Sunday. The ride is about 40 miles long. We will be having lunch at the drum & monkey which is under new ownership but the menu looks ok.
I have changed the return route. We will be coming back via Woodford, bramhall (we will be going through the park), Adswood, edgely crossing the Mersey & returning via the tpt.

Hopefully you will find this interesting.

It is 21 miles to the pub so some may feel the need of a snack to keep them going.
Please make sure your bike is in working order – lights are a good idea if it gets a bit gloomy. A bell is also advisable as we shall be using some shared surfaces.
I did a recckie today on my road bike which was fine.
Look forward to seeing you next week
Dave”

“Hi all
I forgot to mention – there is one significant hill on this ride just before lunch. It is quite challenging.
Dave”
