On this lovely steady ride we soon leave retail parks behind us . We’ll visit a number of parks at their Spring best – Moses Gate, Outwood, Drinkwater and Clifton using cycle trails, paths, towpaths and short sections of road .
This is a relatively flat ride with a few short inclines which you can walk up if you prefer. It is a great ride if you want to increase your mileage a little from an easygoing ride. No one will be left behind so don’t say no until you’ve had a go !

We plan to have a café stop but please ensure you have a drink and snack with you just in case.
Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes and if they are a little bit stiff/rusty and you are not sure how to remedy, take it to your local bike shop. They will be happy to take a look.

Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride unfortunately.

We do have hybrid cycles and helmets to hire if required.
Please bring your spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump (don’t worry about the latter if you don’t have one). A lock would be advisable for the café stop.

It is essential that all ride participants carry their own PPE, that is mask, anti bac gel/wipes and tissues. First aid consumables will be provided by the leader but you will need to self-medicate if it is safe to do so.
