Rolling to the Riverbank (Breeze Ride)

Picking up the Bridgewater Canal from Monton, we’ll cycle to Stretford and transfer on to the Trans Pennine Trail. After our cafe stop, we carry on along the trail by the Mersey to Urmston where a series of quiet roads take us back towards the Trafford Centre, onto the canal and back to Monton.

Most of the route is on canal paths, designated cycle lanes and some quieter roads and most suitable to mountain bikes and hybrids with wider tyres

We can stop for a brew and a snack at the Riverside cafe on the banks of the river Mersey, and there’ll be plenty of time to stop and chat along the route

Please wear a helmet and dress appropriately for the weather. It’s a good idea to carry a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit, and bring money for refreshments, or of course your own drink and snack

We never leave anyone behind

Places are limited so please book online
