Screening of ‘In Our Hands’ and Q & A with local farmers (Kindling Trust)

Excitingly we have an event coming up on Friday 27th April from 7pm – 9:30pm where we will be screening ‘In Our Hands’ a lovely film made by the Land Workers Alliance that looks at the problems with the UK industrial food system and explores the quiet revolution among small hold farmers to combat this and transform how our food is produced and distributed. Throughout the tumultuous summer of the Brexit referendum the Land workers’ Alliance joined forces with two film-makers, to unearth the farms and faces that are making this change happen.

So if you fancy coming along, we will be having a discussion after the film with local small scale farmers – which I am sure will be super interesting and will provide a chance to discuss some of the issues that come up in the film. We are holding the event at the 3 Minute Theatre in Afflecks Palace in Manchester where the bar will be open all evening.

We are asking for just a small contribution towards the event to cover the venue and pass on any profits to the Land Workers Alliance to help them continue their great work supporting small scale sustainable agriculture.
