Sound The Alarm at the Conservative Party Conference (hosted by Extinction Rebellion Manchester)

Our current governing party are holding their annual conference in Manchester. It is one of the largest and most high profile political events in Europe.

This is an opportune moment to demonstrate our determination and tell the truth to the Conservative party: urgent action is needed in the face of the ecological and climate emergency – decarbonisation by 2050 is a suicide note. We’re demanding the Conservatives tell the truth, that the ecological crisis is the number one priority for the lives of the many, and that social justice for all depends on climate justice.

Our aims:
– Ensure the Conservatives make the ecological and climate crisis the number one concern at the conference, and push for net zero carbon by 2025.
– Encourage the Conservatives to join us during the International Rebellion starting 7th October in London.

We must TELL THE TRUTH and demand politicians to ACT NOW.
