Stamford Park skedaddle (Breeze Ride)

This is a lovely route through Clayton Vale, the pretty village of Woodhouses and Daisy Nook. There are a couple of short, sharp ‘ups’ on the ride – to get to Woodhouses and towards Alt, but the scenery makes it worthwhile, and we’ll soon get onto an old railway line for a nice flat section of the route.

Once we leave the railway line we join the roads for the last section before the park. I never leave anyone behind and amnot afraid to get off and walk an ‘ups’ that get me!

Bike type: MTB, hybrid, road Surface: tarmac, compacted dirt, cobbles (1 small section in Daisy Nook), mud

Cafe stop: The Pavillion cafe in Stamford Park Toilets:Velodrome & Stamford Park

Please ensure that you wear a helmet as I will not allow you to ride if you don’t. Please bring a lock, puncture repair kit and weather appropriate clothing. Also, please bring cash for the cafe.

Places are limited so please book online
