We start at Trencherfield Mill and take the Leeds to Liverpool canal all the way through to Leigh. We then take quiet country roads and farm roads to reach our destination. The path from the canal can be quite bumpy so not suitable for road bikes. We will have a lunch stop at The Station so bring some money if you wish to buy refreshments/lunch. We will then return home the same way to make sure the route is as traffic free as possible.
Please ensure you have enough drinks to get you there and return journey if possible. It will be a long day so also dress accordingly to the weather forecast and a spare inner tube and lock are advisable.
