Many CUG members are already aware of the new Beelines map, and the option for commenting on  the initial proposals. There will be a discussion at the meeting to encourage participation in this process as much as possible. To make a comment, click the comment button on the map, and choose the area about which you would like to make a  comment.                                                                                                             

  1. Stockport Walking and Cycling strategy, and Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP)

Latest process and timescale details for these will be shared with the group 

  1. A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road: a day of community sporting activities Sunday 7th October  http://www.semmms.info/come-and-explore-the-new-relief-road-on-7th-october/

The Relief Road is nearly finished, and we want to give you a chance to come and explore it for yourself before it opens to traffic! A day of community sporting activities for all the family will be taking place on the new road; an up-close look at the work that’s been taking place will also be possible

  1. Updates on Cycle City Ambition Grant (CCAG), Town Centre (TCAP), and Mayoral Challenge Fund

Providing updates on various schemes involving cycle infrastructure, including those currently under construction  

  1. Trans Pennine Trail (TPT): current Town Centre diversion for the remainder of 2018

This is in place as a consequence of TCAP-related works along Chestergate, and has involved TPT reps

  1. Any other business
