1. Apologies, previous minutes and matters arising (6:00 to 6:20)
2. Update on Beelines and Mayoral Challenge Fund (MCF) https://mappinggm.org.uk/beelines/
CUG members and other Stockport residents have provided considerable input into the Beelines process to date: the Council expects to receive from TfGM a summary of comments already made. At the meeting, options for a potential Crossings Package shortlist for a January bid will be welcome
A number of Council officers recently attended a ‘Bee a Champion’ training course led by Brian Deegan, Chris Boardman’s infrastructure advisor – some aspects of the course will be discussed with the group (6:20 to 6:50)
3. Stockport Walking and Cycling Plan, and Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP)
Latest process and timescale details for these will be shared with the group (6:50 to 7:00)
4. A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A555) cycling and pedestrian facilities
The Relief Road and the parallel cycling and pedestrian route is now open. The Council would welcome any further comments from those CUG members who have now had the opportunity to use it (7:00 to 7:15)
5. Updates on Cycle City Ambition Grant (CCAG) and Town Centre Access Package (TCAP)
Providing updates on various schemes involving cycle infrastructure, including those currently under construction (7:15 to 7:25)
6. Trans Pennine Trail (TPT): current Town Centre diversion for the remainder of 2018
This remains in place due to TCAP-related works along Chestergate. Comments from the group will be shared with the TCAP team (7:25 to 7:35)
