Stockport Enduro and Cycling Festival
We are set to host the first suburban cycle race in Greater Manchester! Stockport is known for its varying topography through its historical brows, narrow passageways and steep hills. All of these attributes make Stockport the perfect location for a cycling race.
Taking the technical challenge of Cyclo Cross, the excitement and speed of paved town centre racing and adding a blend of Bike Parkour an Enduro is an urban cycle race like no other.
The Stockport Enduro race route has been selected to encompass a wide variety of famous Stockport landmarks.
The race will be a 1.1 mile circuit involving three laps and will include hard technical components including steep climbs, staircase jumps and tight turns.
On race Sunday there will be multiple races for a range of abilities working up to the final Elite race which will have a cash prize.
The Festival’s inspiring and animated event village will be at St Peter’s Square. There will be a wide variety of activities for people of all ages and abilities during the 2 day festival.
