Super Stamford Park (Breeze Ride)

We’ll pootle our way through Clayton and Sunnybank Vales to get to Droylsden and on into Daisy Nook Country Park. Following the canal through to Bardsley and we’ll have a short sharp climb to the Ashton & Oldham greenway where we’ll rejoin the roads for our final section into Stamford Park.

Our return leg will be out through Alt and the fab descent through Woodhouses. Please note that we will still be abiding by COVID-19 safety regulations: social distancing and mask wearing at rest stops unless exempt.

Bike Type: Hybrid, MTB – mix of tarmac and compacted sand/gravel

Café stop: The Pavillion café, Stamford Park. Can also stop at Daisy Nook café on the way back if required

Helmets are encouraged. Bring cash/card for the Café, bike lock and puncture repair kit, and weather appropriate clothing – it is Manchester after all, so we could be turning into ducks, snowmen or cooking on the ride. It is unknown exactly how long we’ll be out for as it depends on who’s with us and how long we spend munching, so any end time on here is a pure guess! We never leave anyone behind and we’re not afraid to walk bits if we need to

Places are limited so please book online
