Sustainable Transport Futures seminar: Mobility as a Service

We are happy to invite you to our upcoming seminar: Mobility as a Service. It takes place at University of Salford on Wed 16th January between 12:00 – 14:00.

This is the third seminar in our Sustainable Transport Futures Seminar Series.

Mobility as a Service describes an approach to getting around that takes the emphasis off vehicle ownership and instead centres mobility around technology gateways. This is typically operated through smartphone Apps and websites that combine public and private transport options and match travel needs with mobility solutions.

In this seminar we will hear from experts with direct experience of MAAS projects. They will share their views and experiences and prompt a discussion on the future role of this approach in our cities. How might this technology help us achieve better transport, what are the benefits to our cities, and who might (and might not) enjoy those benefits?
