We are absolutely thrilled to confirm that the 6th Develop UK Wigan Bike Ride for Joining Jack! will return in 2022 and registration is OPEN!

Following the successful return of our 5th ride in the summer, raising a sensational £17,000 for Team JJ, we are delighted to set the date for our Super 6th event on SUNDAY, JUNE 19th, 2022.

After 2020’s virtual ride due to the global COVID pandemic, and this year’s relocation to Ashfield Park, next year’s event will see us return to our original venue at Mesnes Park.

We are planning to repeat the HARDCORE or HIGHWAY routes which proved a huge success this summer, and we are also offering a Virtual Entry at a slightly discounted rate for any riders who are unable to join us on the day or who may not meet the age criteria or fancy completing 50 miles in one go.

And we are super excited to be confirm that next year’s event will also mark the return of our famous 5 Mile Family Ride! This will also take place on Sunday, June 19th, on completely closed roads, and will start and finish at Mesnes Park. There are no ages restriction and we invite adults to ride for FREE with a registered child. Save your place HERE!

Please note the change in date following a previous announcement earlier this week with a different date. Along with our event partners, the Wigan Bike Ride team have taken the decision to bring next year’s event forward by two weeks after it was confirmed that our original date would clash with the Ironman event and the logistics involved meant this is no longer possible.

The new date for the 6th Wigan Bike Ride is Sunday, June 19th, 2022.
