The Highway Code Consultation and Civil Compensation

How will the proposed Highway Code changes affect compensation for crash victims?

As you’ll know The Department for Transport is consulting on changes to the Highway Code. These include the introduction of a hierarchy of road users – those that cause the most harm will have greater responsibility on the road.

RoadPeace believes it is paramount that personal injury solicitors to have a voice in this consultation, which closes on October 27th. Over 25,000 people are reported seriously injured every year on the roads in Britain, and the Highway Code provides a framework for liability and accessing much needed rehabilitation which personal injury solicitors use. Our event should inspire and facilitate this.

Join us on October 20th at 4pm to learn about how the proposed changes will affect victims and your work.
