Three Towers and a Hill. Now part of the Ironman bike Course! (Guided Ride)

It’s time to explore some stunning countryside taking in views of Turton, Peel and Darwin Tower. From Jumbles Reservoir car park we head up into the village of Edgworth and take the Roman Road with views across to Darwin Tower. We loop via Hoddlesden and then climb the famous Pickup Bank. Our route takes the high road with great views. We return to Edgworth before heading out through beautiful Chapeltown Village and along Green Arms Road adjacent to Turton and Entwistle reservoir. We soon start heading back towards Edgerton via rural Longworth Road with views across to Winter Hill.

Turton Tower has a Victorian tearoom which is a great place to recover, chat over the route and make more cycling plans or there are other options on the route
