TRANS PENNINE TRAIL – A ROUTE TO LYMM

An attractive route that follows the epic Trans Pennine Trail along the Mersey Valley, through Dainewell Woods, and across the eastern end of the Cheshire Plain to the charming village of Lymm. It returns on road through quiet rural lanes, skirting Dunham Park, before a short urban stretch through Sale.

It concludes along the Connect 2 route, the Bridgewater Way. Surfaces vary from tarmac, through compacted shale to sand, so bikes with wide tyres are a sensible choice.
Please remember to bring at least one spare tube and dress appropriately for the weather (it can be muddy in places)

Optional cafe stop/snack in Lymm

Places are limited so please book online.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is listed in our cycling events calendar for Greater Manchester.
