Join us at Debdale Park in Gorton to help plant trees – both big and small!
Whether you give 1 day, 1 hour or 1 week, by becoming a Citizen Forester, you’re spreading the word about the City of Trees movement and helping us to achieve our vision of planting 3 million trees across Greater Manchester.
On Tuesday 24 March we will be planting, staking and guarding 10 large ‘standard’ trees. If there is time we will also be planting 150 smaller sapling trees.
Session takes place 10am – 3pm; gloves, tools and equipment provided. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Light refreshments are provided. Toilet facilities on site.
Location: Heroes Wood, Debdale Park, off Hyde Road, Gorton, Manchester.
