Tree planting in Lightoaks Park (The Big Climate Fightback) (hosted by Friends of Lightoaks Park)
Join Friends of Lightoaks Park and Manchester and District (MAD) Walkers for a tree planting event in Lightoaks Park as part of The Big Climate Fightback!
We’ll be meeting at the Tea’osk in the park from 11am. Equipment and refreshments will be provided.
We’ll have some trees and whips to plant but please feel free to bring donations of trees (or any other plants or bulbs!) along too. Native species including fruit trees will be very welcome. Spring bulbs (ideally native species, please no daffodils, also gratefully received to provide food for insects 🙂).
