Trinity & Adelphi Low Traffic Neighbourhood Launch (Walk Ride Salford Central)

Salford Council will be trialing planters in a few locations from Friday.

These will help keep our neighbourhood safe and traffic levels low for active travel.
This is the first scheme of this nature in Salford and to celebrate we thought it would be great to get the community down for walk and ride!

Some areas of the streets are completely closed to cars so these can effectively become play streets – great for kids.

I have shot some footage of where the filters will go in – showing the current traffic levels at rush hour.

Once the planters are in I’d like to film the same spot showing how the street is for people.

There are 3 closed sections and we will explore all of them – starting at Stevenson street

Bring your bike/trike/cargo bike and family for a great day out.
