Triple A (Breeze Ride)

Charge the batteries in your legs ladies! The gorgeous Alexandra Park in Oldham is the reward after a ride with a few short sharp ‘ups’ But remember what goes up must come down! The first small ‘up’ will be the road leading to the very pretty village of Woodhouses.

Once at Crime Lake end of the road we can opt for the smooth road of Coal Pit Lane or the pretty canalside route through Daisy Nook – both options will lead us to Bardsley and Park Bridge where the second ‘ip’ awaits us. This one looks a bit like a Toblerone piece – in a straight line, but you can see where we turn off

Bike Type: Road, Hybrid, MTB –there is compacted sand and gravel to contend with in a couple of small sections of the ride but it is totally manageable on narrow tyres

Café stop: The Boathouse café, Alexandra Park.

Please note that we will be abiding by COVID-19 safety regulations: social distancing and mask wearing at rest stops. Please ensure you wear a helmet as I won’t allow anyone to participate without one. Bring cash for the Café, bike lock and puncture repair kit, and weather appropriate clothing – it is Manchester after all, so we could be turning into ducks, snowmen or cooking on the ride. It is unknown exactly how long we’ll be out for as it depends on who’s with us and how long we spend munching, so any end time on here is a pure guess!

We never leave anyone behind

Places are limited so please book online

PLEASE NOTE: This event is listed in our cycling events calendar for Greater Manchester.
