Velodrome – Daisy Nook (Breeze Ride)

This route is ideal for people looking to take their cycling a bit further – for all types of bikes – we’ll be on quiet roads as well as in parks. Setting out from the National Cycling Centre, we’ll head around Woodhouses to Crime Lake.

We can stop for a drink and snacks at Daisy Nook before heading back taking in some lovely views. This is a great route which will boost your confidence on quiet roads which takes in plenty of gorgeous scenery.

Do wear a helmet and wear layers – this is Manchester. We’ll still ride if it rains, not if it’s dangerous. We are on roads – though they are quiet ones. This means you’ll need to feel comfortable signalling. This is a social ride though – it’ll be supportive and chatty! If anyone would like to meet me at the Trek store in the city centre, let me know and we can meet there at 9.45 am. It’s an additional 3km from there to the velodrome and we’ll ride mostly along the canal.

Places are limited so please book online
