WalkRideGM – Quarterly General Meeting

Join us for our quarterly meeting. Speakers include:

Chris Boardman – Greater Manchester’s walking and cycling commissioner on how the Bee Network is shaping up and future priorities.
Paul Morris from Civic Engineers, the creative engineering practice behind Glasgow Avenues, the beautiful £150m revamp of Glasgow city centre; and The Climate Innovation District, a brand new eco community in the heart of Leeds that puts people before cars. He will tell us what lessons we can learn from their projects.

Robbie George from Walk Ride Cheadle on how to set up a local Walk Ride group, Helen Pidd on how to put together a successful community-backed Bee Network bid (following the approval of Walk Ride Romiley’s multi-million pound proposal), and Living Streets Leeds on their successful community campaigning – plus more!

Arrive from 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

Please register via Eventbrite so we can manage numbers and book a room of the right size.
