Webinar: the UK’s climate fair share (Christian Aid, War on Want, Friends of the Earth and Action Aid)
What is the UK’s fair share of climate action both at home and internationally? What does this mean for a fair, sustainable recovery from the corona pandemic?
This is the first session in a two part series to ensure the UK is stepping up to its responsibilities in the climate crisis.
Hosted by Christian Aid, War on Want, Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland, Friends of the Earth Scotland, ActionAid, this first webinar will explore what the UK’s fair share of climate action is, and why a fair share is the cornerstone of global climate ambition. We’ll be building on new analysis that reveals the scale of emissions cuts the UK needs to deliver internationally and why zero emissions at home is only half the story.
Dr Sivan Kartha, Stockholm Environment Institute
Nathan Thanki, Global Campaign to Demand Climate Justice
Rachel Kennerley, Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland
