What If…? Imagining our green and fair recovery

What If…?   Imagining our green and fair recovery

Friends of the Earth and Climate Action Groups (North West): virtual event, live during the weekend of 8-9th August 2020, then available to watch again online

A variety of contributors will be speaking on a range of environmental and social topics, such as trees, local economy and democracy, green energy and transport. Each session will last around an hour with time for Q&A from the audience.

Sessions will take place across the whole weekend and anyone can register to watch as many sessions as they like, live via Eco Communities on CrowdCast.

The title and theming for the event has been inspired by Rob Hopkin’s book From What Is to What If which aims to demonstrate that a positive future is possible by detailing initiatives already successfully taking place around the world to create a more fair and sustainable way of life.

Our event will attempt to do the same for North West England. We’ll be hearing from people who are involved in existing projects which have a positive impact on people and planet. We hope to be inspired and equipped to consider which projects we might be able to adapt and bring to our own communities.

All we need you to do it book to receive more information and a programme of the event nearer the date.

Book your place via Eventbrite.
