Wildflower Planting with Hulme Community Garden Centre (hosted by MMU Environment Team)
The Birley Community Orchard is a space created for the community, as well as the staff and students at Manchester Metropolitan University. It also provides an important habitat for wildlife, contributing to Manchester’s urban biodiversity and providing important eco-system services.
Come along to this woodland workshop and help maintain this important habitat whilst learning more about the urban eco-system and meeting like-minded people.
In this session we will be maintaining the woodland and orchard and planting wild flowers.
