Will COVID-19 break or build our bond with plastic?
The pandemic has led to a steep rise in single use plastics, in our homes, our businesses and our hospitals. Will this return to a more throw-away approach to plastic be with us to stay? If that is the case, what are the implications across our society in the coming years? And what, if any, are the solutions?
Join Policy@Manchester on Wednesday 2 December to hear Dr Helen Holmes talk about how our relationship with plastics has changed over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
Register your interest by emailing policy@manchester.ac.uk and a Zoom link will be sent in advance of the event. Be sure to include the date and title of the event in your email, to avoid confusion with other events in this series.
