There are daily prizes with our cycling advent calendar for grown-ups. Ride for 10 minutes to go into the day’s prize draw for amazing winter cycling kit from Proviz and Loffi, plus we’ll be giving away an e-bike on Christmas Day!
Love to Ride, in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester, are running the Winter Wheelers event to encourage people to ride during December.
Cycling during lockdown can help to protect our NHS by keeping us fit and healthy, plus it’s a great way to exercise and socialize with someone from another household. Cycling is good for mental health and can help us all to deal with the pandemic, plus riding for transport frees up space on public transport for those key workers who can’t travel by bike.
Winter Wheelers is a cycling advent calendar for grown-ups with daily giveaways to help you ride through winter. Love to Ride have teamed up with three top cycling brands – Proviz, Loffi and Beryl – to offer the three winter cycling ‘must-haves’: lights, gloves and hi-viz.
There are daily draws and registrants are invited to log their rides by 3pm the following day, with the winner announced between 5 and 6pm. Event is free for individuals and organisations.
As well as winter cycling gear, there are two bike prizes up for grabs. Everyone who registers before the end of November will go into the draw for a £750 local bike shop voucher to spend in the independent store of their choice. Then on Christmas Day, everyone who has logged a ride in December will go into the draw for an e-bike.
With these fantastic prizes on offer and so many benefits of riding a bike, there really has never been a better time to try riding in winter. Find out more and register in one minute at lovetoride.net
For participants in Greater Manchester there will also be a chance to win a £100 local bike shop voucher – with 1 voucher up for grabs in each GM council area where participants live.
