Woodland Thinning and Scrub Clearance at Wellacre Country Park

Join our Trafford Citizen Forester group twice a month and help to improve your local green spaces for both wildlife and users!

Whether you give 1 day, 1 hour or 1 week, by becoming a Citizen Forester, you’re spreading the word about the City of Trees movement and helping us to achieve our vision of bringing more woodland back into positive management across Greater Manchester.

On the 6th November, we will be doing woodland thinning works at Wellacre Country Park. This will help to let more light into the forest floor, increasing species diversity.

Session takes place 10am – 2pm; gloves, tools and equipment provided. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Light refreshments are provided.
