Save Druridge: End Coal. Please email the government TODAY

take action

A gorgeous stretch of coastline, Druridge Bay in Northumberland could soon be torn apart to create a huge opencast coal mine to claw out three million tonnes of coal.

Friends of the Earth and local residents have been taking part in a historic Public Inquiry to try to stop the coal mine.

But it’s now over to the Secretary of State to decide whether to approve it – or set a huge example and leave coal in the ground.

We need to keep up the pressure. Help us by writing to the Secretary of State.
