Save Lancashire from fracking

take action

Fracking company Cuadrilla has finished drilling one of their wells at Preston New Road, Lancashire, and will soon apply for government consent to start fracking.

Energy Secretary Greg Clark has the power to stop fracking and reject Cuadrilla’s application.

The local council said ‘no’ but – after the government overruled their decision – operations at the site are steamrolling ahead.

Fracking poses risks to people and the environment, and contributes to climate change. It involves firing a pressurised mix of water, sand and chemicals down a well to extract gas or oil.

Support the local community by telling the government to reject fracking.
