Your chance to question Ed Miliband….

On Saturday 29th September, Ed Miliband will be attending a question and answer session organised by the Manchester Evening News as the Labour leader vows to begin the party’s annual conference “face to face with the people of Manchester.”

The event, which will be broadcast and covered in the M.E.N and online, will take place at The East Manchester Academy, on Grey Mare Lane, in Beswick, from 3pm to 4pm on Saturday, September 29, with doors opening at 2.15pm and is a great opportunity to ask questions about the crucial environment issues.

LABOUR LEADER: Ed Miliband

The MEN reports that the Labour leader wants to break with tradition and take his conference outside the party to voters.

Mr Miliband said: “I’m really pleased that we have been able to team up with the M.E.N. to have a different kind of event at the start to our party conference.

“This will not be some sort of stage-managed event – I want to hear directly from the people of Manchester and give them the chance to ask me whatever they like. I promise to do my best to give you straight answers.”

The Q&A session will be open to around 200 people. To register to attend, you should  email newsdesk@men-news.co.uk with the subject line ‘Miliband Q&A’ and include the following details: name, address, contact number,  email  and any question you propose to ask.

Those who are successfully registered will be notified by 12pm on Friday, September 28.

Please let us know if your question is accepted.  Email Manchester FoE  office@manchesterfoe.org.uk
